Another day, another embarrassing story for the Democrats who are suddenly flailing for their political lives after betting big on Russia conspiracies and Stormy Daniels and losing.
Now that the all-important midterm elections are less than six months away, the smug Dems who had been convinced that a big “blue wave” would sweep them back into power are having to regroup on the fly as President Trump’s favorability ratings climb and theirs are on an express elevator to the cellar.
One would think that the head of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus would at least be fluent in Spanish but that isn’t the case with New Mexico Congresswoman Michelle Lujan Grisham who struggles mightily with the language.
Now being able to speak español would seem to be a critical job requirement for heading up such a caucus – which is small in relation to the much more vocal Congressional Black Caucus – but nobody was paying much attention with everything being about RUSSIA, RUSSIA, RUSSIA and RUSSIA.
Until it wasn’t and now Dems are scrambling for a positive message with the clock rapidly ticking down and Lujan Grisham seems to have been caught with her pants down.

Michelle Lujan Grisham, the Democratic chair of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus, has enlisted Massachusetts congressman Joe Kennedy III to record campaign ads in Spanish.
Lujan Grisham, who is running for governor in New Mexico, has been criticized for not speaking Spanish while chairing the Hispanic caucus. Her campaign is spending $30,000 per week for its latest ad, where Kennedy, the redheaded grandson of Robert F. Kennedy, praises his “amiga” Michelle.
“In the radio ad, Congressman Kennedy talks about his family legacy of public service and how Congresswoman Lujan Grisham’s work to investigate nursing home abuse, double the number of school-based health centers for children and families, and to lower drug overdoses through better treatment reflects that same dedication,” Lujan Grisham’s campaign said. “The radio advertisement will run on Spanish and bilingual radio stations across New Mexico.”
And there is nothing that is quite as appealing to the Latino community than a red-haired, alabaster white child of privilege like Rep. Kennedy who while botching his big coming out party by drooling all over himself during the response to President Trump’s SOTU address, he speaks fluent Spanish.
It’s taken a long time but some black people are finally starting to catch on that they’ve been played by the Democrats who couldn’t give a rat’s ass about them once the election is over – could it be that perhaps Hispanics are about due for a similar epiphany?
Good God, talk about having an authenticity problem.
