Youtube is a great way to learn Spanish. And it’s free. The only problem that you might find is too much info, too many options. How to know which ones are the good channels, the reliable ones that will teach you Spanish?

Today we will get a bit more technical. We’ll learn Spanish in the way a teacher would explain it to you. The only difference – the vehicle is Youtube and your screen, instead of a classroom.

A project from a friend and colleague from Spain, Elena will share with you the most important Spanish topics and vocabulary. You’ll find Basic, Intermediate and Advanced lessons. Another channel with a long past. LightSpeed Spanish are a really cute couple. Gordon Smith, from the UK; and Cynthia Durán, from Madrid, Spain. They have been teaching Spanish and sharing their tips for a long long time. Their Youtube channel is great, but they also have very good podcasts. And I have to mention that their online community, which I’m part of, is very active and generous, just like them!
I don’t personally know Ana, but from her videos, you can see that she is a very sweet and gentle person. She’s from Mexico, and she’s been helping students learn how to get things done in Spanish for +4 years now. She specializes in real-life situations, like getting a taxi, talking about sports, or ordering food (very important tasks!). If you are traveling to Mexico, definitely take a look at her channel.
Jeremy Jordan has been uploading videos teaching Spanish for a long time. He’s a native English speaker and an actual teacher in the US, so he has a great experience with English speakers. He focuses on their most common problems. His lessons are fun and interesting, and they for sure will help you understand what you need!
This one is not actually a Youtube channel, but it shares the video format, and it’s worth mentioning.
I like it because it’s also a great repository of “Tasks” examples that you might perform in Spanish: describing your family, telling the time, making an appropriate social introduction…
They have speakers from many countries, and therefore you can find anything, no matter where you want to go!
